ABOUT BOB WILLIAMS
He is a life-time learner who has had many rich experiences as a teacher, adult educator, leader, consultant, mentor, coach and senior corporate executive. He is now applying what he has learned to his vocation as a therapist. Bob works intensively with a small number of clients.
Bob was formerly the CEO of a large Ontario School Board. He focussed on improving the achievement and well-being of students by placing a priority on the professional learning and development of over 5,000 staff. He strived to lead by example and has been a mentor to many.
Bob has been a student of psychology for many years and for the past six years has intensively studied Jungian Psychology. He is currently an Advanced Candidate in Training with the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts in their post-graduate level Analyst Training Program.
His formal education includes a degree in Business and Economics (McMaster), and graduate degrees in Education (University of Toronto) as well as his extensive Jungian studies.
He has also successfully presented countless courses, workshops and speeches on a diversity of topics to audiences across North America for many years.
Bob currently coordinates an exciting non-profit project which is bringing a ground-breaking training program to Ontarians who support, teach and parent individuals who have developmental disabilities including autism.
A mindfulness meditator for over 35 years, Bob has dealt with both the good and bad times of a satisfying life. He is calm, focussed, organized and cheerful. He has been a loyal supporter to several close friends in their darkest hours. Those who know him well describe Bob as a loving friend, father and grandfather.
Bob lives in downtown Toronto and enjoys times with family (6 grandchildren) and friends. He keeps active physically with walking, yoga, swimming and golf and continues to read widely, pursue his studies and enjoy several cultural interests.
Bob wants to help clients understand and deal effectively with their challenges so they can have more interesting, satisfying and meaningful lives.
